Alma Maraú Estate · Maraú Peninsula · Bahia
An incomparable retreat where the Atlantic Forest meets the warm waters of the ocean — an exclusive residence within the Alma Maraú estate, the peninsula's benchmark of refined living.
The Residence
With 1,884 sq ft of built area and 50 ft of beachfront, Casa Nareia sits within a private 7.4-acre gated estate, complete with full leisure infrastructure and 24/7 security. Four generous suites, total integration with the garden, and uninterrupted views of the Atlantic.
Reforested hardwoods, soapstone quarried in Minas Gerais, exposed concrete and handcrafted cobogó screens compose a narrative that celebrates craftsmanship and place. Generous ceiling heights and continuous openings dissolve the boundary between interior and tropical garden.

Open Living
Beneath a double-height ceiling and exposed reclaimed-wood roof, the living area unites a lounge, a dining table for eight and a kitchen in one fluid space. A technical wall of shoji panels — Japanese-inspired cumaru slats and translucent paper — conceals the TV and filters the natural light throughout the day. Large-format porcelain floors, handwoven natural-fiber pendants, Brazilian ceramics and raw cotton tapestries create a serene, contemporary atmosphere deeply connected to the peninsula's tropical surroundings.

The Region
The Maraú Peninsula is a forty-kilometer strip of land suspended between the Bay of Camamu — the third largest in the world — and the open Atlantic. On one side, century-old mangroves, deserted islands and waters that shift in tone with the tide. On the other, untouched beaches and miles of white sand bathed by the warm waters of the Atlantic.
Still reached today mainly by boat or by the sandy roads that cross the Atlantic Forest, the peninsula has preserved its discreet identity: fishing villages, design-led inns, restaurants by chefs who chose to trade the rhythm of the capitals for the cadence of the sea. Here, luxury is measured in silence, stars and horizon.

The Village
A fishing village turned cosmopolitan retreat: chef-led bistros, Bahian design boutiques and sandy streets where time slows down.
